DIET COKE!

One of the most un-healthy drinks on the market.
The most commonly distributed version of Diet Coke (and majority of beverages using artificial sweeteners) relies on Aspartame, which has been blamed by some scientists and medical professionals for possibly causing serious illnesses (such as cancer, brain tumors, brain lesions, and lymphoma) when consumed in large quantities. If you have massive amounts of diet coke and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss - you might have something called aspartame disease. There are also a number of rumors about what diet coke can do to some common objects. For example:
some say if you put a dirty, rusted penny in diet coke, all of the dirt and rust will come off and it will shine the penny. Some also say a hammering nail will disinegrate in regular coke, so I'm going to see if it will work with diet coke as well. Well, I am going to experiment these rumors, and see how bad diet coke really is for you.

PENNY & NAIL EXPERIMENT:
Before: If it is true that diet coke can take off rust and dirt and make the penny look shiny and new, don't you wonder what it can do to your stomach? It is possible that over a long period of time (and if you are addicted to diet coke) the diet coke may be eating away at the insides of your stomach, intestines, and liver.

Day 1: (Wednesday) I put 3 pennies in 3 different cups and one nail in another cup at 5:00 p.m. I will check them all every 24 hours.
Day 2: (Thursday) The nail looks exactly the same, but the pennies' stains have gotten darker do to a chemical reaction.
Day 3: (Friday) There are some light brown stains on the side of the cups with pennies in them, but the nail is still the same. The pennies' stains are even darker now.
Day 4: (Saturday) The stains on the pennies have gotten smaller and black, but the nail is still the same, but a little lighter. There is a lot of brown stains on the sides of the cups with pennies now.
Day 5: (Sunday) The cup is brown all around and the volume of diet coke in the cups with pennies and with the nail is lower. The nail still hasn't changed, but the pennies' stains are much smaller and very dark.
Day 6: (Monday) The diet coke leaked through the cup and started to turn my desk black from the rust and chemicals, so I had to end the experiment a little early. But the pennies now have little black spots on them, and are shiny too. The nail simply slimed down and got a little darker. I think the sugar in regular coke is what disintegrate the nails, so diet coke would not have an effect. So this concludes that Diet Coke definitely has a chemical reaction to pennies (with contain copper and zinc).

So, it turns out diet coke doesn't make the pennies cleaner, but in fact makes them rusted and even disitegrates them a little. All in all, diet coke is very bad for you. ----
