A Day in the Life
My aunt Susan Butcher was a 4 time Iditarod champion, and I have gotten the chance to visit their home in Alaska a few times.

A typical day in the summer would be waking up, my uncle giving a presentation of the dogs pulling a 4 wheeler (without its engine) to a tour group, and later giving another presentation to a new tour group. The dogs make every day so much fun by howling, racing to you when you pass by, or calmly sleeping in their pens. Even though Alaska can be stereotyped as a freezing cold tundra at all times, it is very nice and can get very warm in the summer. Since there is no snow for training, the dogs pull a 4 wheeler around different trails, and in the winter move on to a sled.
